The Chrono is a UCI qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. The Chrono is a fully produced, mass participation, time trial run over a sporting circuit of 11.6 miles (18.7km) on fully closed roads.

The Chrono start is under cover in Kay Park next to the Burns Memorial in Kilmarnock.  The start production includes a start ramp, sound and lighting, professional commentary and a countdown clock.

The Chrono caters for any rider who wishes to take the ‘Race of Truth’ under Pro conditions. The start sheet is set out according to UCI Masters Age / Gender Classification.

The Chrono has a spectacular Podium. The fastest three riders in each UCI Masters Age / Gender Classification will be invited to a podium ceremony to be awarded UGWFS winners jerseys, medals and prizes.
