Looking To Qualify At ToC 2019??

Following the fourth edition to the Tour of Cambridgeshire, we’ve made a few changes to how you can qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships for 2019.

The UGFWS is made up of 22 qualifier events around the World, with ToC being the UK’s only qualifier event. The top 25% of each UCI Masters Age Group will qualify to represent their home country at the World Championships.

At ToC 2019, we’re making the qualifier element of the event more exclusive, so if you want to qualify for the Road Race, you need to be quick to enter.

UGFWS RACE

The UGFWS RACE is split into UCI Masters Age Groups, each racing for the podium places and the UCI rainbow jersey. Each individual Race pen will be managed and officiated by a commissaire.

Riders in the Race also compete against riders taking part in the Gran Fondo for UCI Gran Fondo World Championships qualification places, with the fastest 25% in each age group qualifying.

The big change for 2019 is that each age classification will be restricted to just 100 riders to meet regulations.

You must hold a full National Federation Race License.

Entries open from 7am on Monday 4th June 2018 so enter to avoid disappointment.

UGFWS Gran Fondo

The UGFWS Gran Fondo allows riders to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships; the fastest 25% of riders in the Race and Gran Fondo collectively will qualify.

The major difference with the Gran Fondo in 2019 is that field sizes will be restricted to just 100 places per age group..

The Gran Fondo is recommended for riders who do not hold a National Federation License but would like to qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.

We have 500 Early Bird places, which are just £59.00. Entries open from 7am on Monday 11th June 2018.
