The Chrono is a UCI qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. The Chrono is a fully produced, mass participation, time trial run over a sporting circuit of 16.4 miles (26.4km) on fully closed roads.

The Chrono start is under cover in the Peterborough Arena.  The start production includes a start ramp, sound and lighting, professional commentary and a countdown clock.

The Chrono caters for any rider who is at least 19yrs of age on Dec 31st in the year of the event who wishes to take the ‘Race of Truth’ under Pro conditions. The start sheet is set out according to UCI Masters Age / Gender Classification. There is no seeding.

The Chrono has a spectacular Podium. The fastest three riders in each UCI Masters Age / Gender Classification will be invited to a podium ceremony to be awarded UGWFS winners jerseys, medals and prizes.

Additionally, the Chrono contains a highly produced ‘Chrono Warm Up’ area with a substantial number of Turbos. The professional mechanics set your bikes up on the Turbos and take them off for your start. Clocks are available to inform riders warming up of the time in readiness for their start.
