Travelling by Car

There are some major road networks around the Event HQ area, including the M77 (via A77), M74 (via A71) and the M8 allowing for easy access from many areas across the country.

If you’re travelling by car to the Event HQ, please use postcode KA3 7RU until your reach the Event car-parking signs when you arrive closer to the event.

Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the Event HQ to allow for any increased traffic volumes, car parking and also getting in to the main event areas.

Travelling by local Buses

There are several bus stops located round the perimeter of Kay Park, with a regular bus services travelling to many locations. The Kimarnock Bus Station is also approximately 1 mile from the Event HQ.

Travelling by Rail

Kilmarnock Train Station is located approximately 1 mile away from the Event HQ. Kimarnock is approximately 30 minutes away from Glasgow and just 2 hours from Edinburgh by train.

Carrying cycles on the ScotRail services is free, however, it is advised that ScotRail have very limited accommodation for bikes on board their trains. Please be aware that ScotRail cannot guarantee that they can carry all cyclists who wish to travel with their bikes on any particular service.

Travelling by Bike or by Foot

If you’re travelling by either bike or foot, please ensure that you abide by the highway code and use pedestrian walkways.

Please be aware that the roads are open as normal around the local area but may have an increase in traffic, therefore riders and walkers must travel with care.
